  • Scott Kelly

    President of the Board

    Scott Kelly has worked with the Green Beret Project for the past 5 years serving previously as the Executive Director and now as the President of the Board. The program is designed to break the school-to-prison cycle and develop future leaders for our communities and country by applying the tenants of special operations. Additionally, Scott is a coach, supporting both senior executive business leaders as well as incarcerated individuals providing tailored assistance based on individual needs.

    Scott retired from the United States Army after commanding airborne infantry and special operations units, with the bulk of his service in 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (1st SFOD-D). He has extensive experience in combat and counter-terrorism operations, as well as clandestine intelligence activities. He has more than a dozen deployments around the world conducting military operations.

    Scott is currently serving as the President of Conrex, an institutional sized single-family rental owner/operator with ~$1.5B AUM in the United States’ housing market. Over the last four years, he has enjoyed taking a start-up organization to adulthood growing Conrex by over 35%. Conrex was recently acquired by Brookfield Asset Management and is well postured for exponential growth.

  • Willis Chevrolet

    Isaac Willis is a 1993 graduate of Smyrna High School, Smyrna, DE and earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Delaware in Newark in 1997, where he was a member of the University of Delaware Emergency Care Unit, a student-run volunteer ambulance corps.

    Willis worked part time in his family’s dealership until he graduated from college in 1997 when he became a full time employee. He assumed the role of General Manager in 2004 and currently serves as the company’s Dealer Principal. He used to ride his bike to work when he was 8 years old to wash cars. Isaac was changing oil by the time he was 12 years old and has since worked in all of the departments within the dealership. Today, he is currently business partners with his Pop, William H. Willis Jr. Willis is a third generation dealer at Willis Chevrolet Buick, which was founded by his grandad, William H. Willis Sr. in 1951.

    Willis feels that watching their employees be successful within the dealership is very satisfying, and as a result, is pleased that they, in turn, can also give back to the communities and various organizations that are important to them. Willis, too, is committed to his community and has been a member of the Smyrna Volunteer Fire Company, Citizens’ Hose Company No.1, for 33 years. He was a fire officer for 12 years before becoming Fire Chief in 2012. He has also held the offices of Lieutenant, Captain, Second Assistant Chief and First Assistant Chief. He was named Firefighter of the Year in 1993 by the Citizens’ Hose Company No. 1 and feels his work as a volunteer firefighter has provided him with the opportunity to make a true difference and positively impact the community the he serves.

    He has responded to thousands of car accidents, medical emergencies, fires and various other emergency situations where he has had the opportunity to assist in life-saving efforts.

    Willis has also served on the Finance Committee for Asbury United Methodist Church in Smyrna, DE on the advisory board for the Green Beret Project, a youth outreach program, and as chairperson of the capital campaign for the Greater Smyrna Clayton Boys and Girls Club. In addition, Willis partners with the local high school to encourage and educate young drivers on driving safely, which includes pledges to not text and drive or drink and drive. The dealership also supports the local drivers education program by providing vehicles to the program. Isaac lives in Smyrna with his wife, Christy, daughter, Brooke and son Mason and continues to be involved in many organizations that make positive contributions to their community.

  • Mark Chapman

    Board Member

    Mr. Mark A. Chapman is the Chief Executive Officer and a Co-Founder of gfaith LLC.

    Prior to gfaith, Mr. Chapman was CEO of Salveo Diagnostics Inc. He is the founder of Chapman Strategies, Inc & Preactive Health Strategies, Inc., which specializes in leadership, strategy, and operational effectiveness consulting. In his early career Mr. Chapman held numerous Executive Level leadership positions in four major fortune 500 consumer products companies: General Foods Corporation, Dr Pepper, Malt-O-Meal Foods, and Ralston Purina. Mr. Chapman was the founder of United Sales Inc, which was sold to Fleming Foods.

    Mr. Chapman has served as a consultant to multiple companies across many different industries as well as a Government Contractor with the armed forces. During his time working with the Armed Forces, Mr. Chapman received the Distinguished Civilian Service Awarded from President George W. Bush. Mr. Chapman has over 100 CMEs from the Institute for Functional Medicine, over 55 CLE’s from the American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA) and for 2 years served as a volunteer in Pastoral care at St. Luke’s Hospital located in Houston Texas. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing & Psychology and his Master of Psychology from Richmond University in London, with Honors. He acquired post-graduate training at the University of Pennsylvania (Global Marketing & Anti-Trust Law), University of Chicago (Marketing/Product Diversification), Stanford University (Financial Studies).

    Mr. Chapman has served on several profit and non-profit boards as well as being a Court Appointed Child Advocate. He is currently on the Board of The Jack Brewer Foundation and The Green Beret Project. Mark is married to Dr. Roberta Bogaev Chapman, and they share a deep love for serving others and working for the Lord. They enjoy spending time with their family and friends, as well as reading, flying and outdoor sports activities.

  • Chuy Almonte

    Board Member

    CSM Jesus Almonte was born in the Bedford-Stuyvesant area of Brooklyn, NY on November 7th , 1977. In August 1996, he enlisted in the US Army as a 62B, Construction Equipment Repairer, completing Basic and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. As a mechanic, he was assigned to the 14th Engineer Bn and later assigned to HSC, 2nd Bn, 1st SFG (A) at Fort Lewis, WA. In November 2006, he completed Special Forces training as an 18E, Special Forces Communications Sergeant, and was assigned to B Co, 2nd Bn, 7th SFG (A) were he served on ODA 755. In 2011, CSM Almonte was assigned to 2nd Bn, 3rd SFG (A) where he served as the Assistant Operations Sergeant on ODA 3215. In 2012, CSM Almonte served as a Special Forces Team Sergeant for ODA 3235 and then the Operations Sergeant for ODB 3230. In 2015, CSM Almonte served as the First Sergeant for HHC, 3rd SFG (A). In 2016, CSM Almonte went on to serve as the Team Libya Senior Enlisted Advisor. In 2017, he assumed responsibility of A Co, 3rd Bn, 3rd SFG (A) as the Company Sergeant Major. In 2018, CSM Almonte served as the Operations Sergeant Major and SOCFWD-NWA SEL assigned to 2nd Bn, 3rd SFG (A). From 2019-2021, CSM Almonte served as the Company Sergeant Major for the Special Forces Detachment Commander’s course in 4th Bn, 1st SWTG (A). He has served on three different ODAs and has numerous combat tours to Afghanistan, as well as non-combat deployments in Southeast Asia, South America, Central Asia, Europe, and Africa. Currently, he is serving as the Command Sergeant Major for Advanced Skills Battalion on Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

    CSM Almonte’s military education includes the Construction Equipment Repair Course, Primary Leadership and Development Course, Airborne Course, Static Line Jumpmaster Course, Basic Non Commissioned Officers Course, Actions Officer Development Course, Supervisor Development Course, Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape Course, Special Forces Communications Sergeant Qualification Course, Combat Diver Qualification Course, Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat Course, Advanced Non-Commissioned Officers Course, Combat Diver Supervisor Course, and Joint Special Operations Forces Senior Enlisted Academy. He also has a Bachelors of Science in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College.

    CSM Almonte’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star (V), Bronze Star Medals (2 OLC), Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (1 OLC), Saint Philip Niri Award, Army Commendation Medals (6 OLC), Army Achievement Medals (3 OLC), Army Good Conduct Medal (8th Award), National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal (4 campaign stars), Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terror Service Medal, Korean Defense Services Medal, Non Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (numeral 5), Army Service Ribbon, NATO Medal, Master Parachutist Badge, Combat Infantryman Badge, Combat Diver Badge, Combat Diver Supervisor Badge, Peruvian Navy Seal Combat Diver Badge, Mechanics Badge, Divers Badge, Thai, Chilean, German, and Korean foreign jump wings, and the Special Forces Tab.

    His greatest blessings and achievements are his marriage to his wife, Michelle, and their six children, Clara (10), Jakey (9), Jesus (7), Annie (5), Charlie (4), and John James (3).

  • Mark Eubanks

    Board Member

    Reverend Mark A. Eubanks (USA SGM RET) was born in St. Louis Missouri. His Family moved to Minneapolis when he was six years, where he spent his formative years. He graduated from Minneapolis North High School as class president and the recipient of the Young Man of the Year award in 1983. After graduating from high school Mark joined the United States Army in October of 1983. He has had several duty stations in his career, to include Germany, Korea, and Fort Bragg, NC. During his time in Special Forces Mark served in Central and South America, Haiti, Kosovo, and across the continent of Africa. After nine combat tours in Afghanistan and Iraq, and 32 years of service Mark retired as a Special Forces Sergeant Major In November of 2015.

    Since retirement from the U.S. Army Mark continues to serve in his local church. He has also served as the President of the Green Beret Project and is now a current board member in the organization. He answered his call to ministry and preached his trial sermon in March of 2008 and was ordained in March of 2012. Currently, he serves as the Coordinator of Men’s Ministry at Simon Temple, and he also authors a newsletter designed to encourage and edify men. The publication is entitled “It’s a Soldier’s Life” in which he utilizes his 32 years of military experience as a backdrop to teach Christian men how to fight the good fight of faith.

    Rev. Eubanks loves God and his family. He is married to Dr. Paula Nobles Eubanks of Tucson Arizona, and they have four wonderful children and one grandchild.

    His favorite scripture is: 2 Timothy 4:7-8:7  I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8  Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

    His ultimate goal is to fight the good fight of faith and to be a mighty warrior for the Kingdom of God.
